How to Raise More Funds This Fall

David Allen, Fundraising Consultant, will provide an overview of how organizations can raise more money from individual donors by improving annual renewal, upgrade, cultivation, and major gift development systems.  Participants will learn how to improve donor communications and focus staff and Board attention on activities that have the greatest potential using proven strategies.   David Allen will be also be available on September 13th 1PM - 4PM for 1:1 consultation.  Workshop attendees will have an opportunity to schedule a session with David through August 31st. Slots still available after that date will be made available to others.  During office hours David will offer direction on creating and implementing a fundraising plan as well as guidance on specific fundraising questions you want to bring forward.  Plan to bring your current fundraising goals, organizational needs, and specific questions to your 1:1 session with David.


David Allen is a non-profit organizational development consultant.  He works with organization boards to help their members learn how to be better leaders and advocates.  David's background includes more than 25 years working in membership fundraising, major donor development, communications, and marketing. David's work includes working for the Nature Conservancy (TNC) chapters in Oregon, Texas, and Wisconsin both individual chapter support and as an internal fundraising consultant and major donor development trainer.  In March of 2009, David left his position with Sand County Foundation and launched his consulting business full-time using the name Development for Conservation.
