Summary of Presentation

Program evaluation can be just one more requirement for your busy organization or an overlooked area of opportunity. From varying reporting requirements to a lack of time or staff capacity, the challenges to program evaluation can be overwhelming. But the benefits of a strong, well-planned program evaluation model can far outweigh those challenges.

We will discuss the main components of program evaluation, including how to plan, conduct, analyze and utilize program evaluations for your nonprofit. This interactive time will provide concrete ways to build your capacity make the most of your program evaluations.

Speaker Biography

Marita Herkert is a nonprofit consultant and owner of Marita Herkert Consulting. She specializes in program evaluation, grant writing, and research for nonprofits. Marita has a masters degree from the University of Chicago School of Social Service Administration and she brings diverse experiences in the nonprofit, government, and startup spaces to her work with nonprofits.
