How to Tap Into Donor-Advised Funds

Donor-advised funds now receive about 8% of all philanthropic dollars donated by Americans. While many nonprofits receive distributions from these accounts, they often find it difficult to connect with those who hold the funds.

How can you raise awareness of your work among wealthy individuals with donor-advised funds and make it easy for them to give to your nonprofit?

Join The Chronicle of Philanthropy and two experts for our webinar on October 26. You'll learn from Mark Hefter, who directs the American Technion Society's gift-planning programs. He'll offer tips for connecting with community foundations and others who sponsor these funds and discuss some of the legal limits on how money from these funds can be used.

What Will You Learn?
  • How to raise awareness of your nonprofit among DAF owners and community foundation leaders
  • Insights into the motivations and giving preferences of donors who hold these funds
  • How to build ties with financial professionals who counsel those who own donor-advised funds
