The Guide to Preventing and Self-treating Muscle Pain is for the everyday person who experiences a range of typical muscle tension and pain and would like to learn skills to prevent and recover from them. This program will include an engaging presentation that will have you doing experiential activities such as stretching and trying some self-treatment tools.

 Benefits of the workshop include:

  • Learning how and why we get muscle tension and pain
  • Understanding general stress management techniques
  • Knowing how to self-treat muscle pain
  • Engaging in a Q & A with a Registered and experienced massage therapist


Brown Bag Lunch Sessions may be hosted by any Center member and are open to all Center members for free; nonmembers pay a fee of $5.00.  

Coffee, tea and water will be provided.
